Ole Red Line Dancing Lessons, Step By Step

If you’re headed to Nashville, we hope you packed your boots! There’s plenty of places you can take ‘em for a spin, but we think Ole Red’s line dancing lessons—every Saturday at 3:30PM and 4:30PM—are the cream of the crop.

Never been to a line dancing class in Nashville before? Let us break the process down for you step by step.

1. Get Your Tickets

Line dancing lessons happen every Saturday at 3:30PM and 4:30PM. Round up your dancing crew, pick a time slot, grab your tickets, and get ready for a helluva time.

2. Show Up Early and Grab a Drink

Need a little liquid courage before hitting the floor? Stop in at the bar on the main floor and order up somethin’ honky-tonk strong. We suggest the Cherry Limeade.

3. Head On Upstairs

While some line dancing lessons in Nashville take place out on an open dance floor, at Ole Red, we teach the moves in a small group setting, in a private space. Head up to The Hall on the 3rd floor, meet your instructor, and check in. Oh, and don’t forget to grab your souvenir cup!

4. Learn the Moves

Our professional dancers break down popular line dances step by step, so even complete beginners won’t get lost in the shuffle. Lessons last 30 minutes so your group will get plenty of practice.

5. Shake What Your Mama Gave Ya

Now that you’ve mastered the moves, it’s time to show ‘em off! Your instructor will lead you back down to the main floor, where your group can run the whole routine along with live music from the band.

6. Stick Around For More

Just like that, you’ll be confident enough to take on any Nashville dance floor. Or, you can stick around at Ole Red and lead the crowds while the band plays. After all that boot scootin’, be sure to fuel up with something tasty from our scratch-made menu.

So now that you know the steps, what are you waiting for? Dance floor’s waiting…we’ll see ya on Saturday.
