Born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Ferbie Montano brings the spirit of the Southwest, a touch of Southern influence, and more than 15 years of professional experience to the stage. A graduate of Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, he has spent his career performing with artists and bands across California, Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, and Florida.
Ferbie writes about life as he sees it—the good, the bad, the weird, and the stuff that makes you wonder how you got yourself into that situation in the first place. His songs find the humor in heartbreak, the stories in everyday life, and usually a punchline somewhere along the way. It’s honest, a little rough around the edges, and never afraid to have some fun with itself.
Whether he’s playing an original or putting his own spin on a familiar favorite, Ferbie knows what a good night of music is supposed to do: make you feel something, make you laugh, and give you a reason to stick around for one more song.
