Megan Wilder grew up in an urban city on mainstream pop music and the few country radio stations the San Francisco Bay Area had to offer. But that wouldn’t stop her from developing a deep love for country music and ultimately creating a soulful and timeless sound like no other. The 26-year-old California native credits a strong line of female country artists such as Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, The Chicks, Martina McBride, and Maren Morris melded with a diverse mix of pop influences like Kelly Clarkson, Julia Michaels, and Lennon Stella. Her rich, clear, and timeless tone mixed with her powerhouse vocals and California pop roots have landed her multiple opportunities from an early age. Wilder has been everywhere from hometown venues, to SXSW, to enjoying a successful run on Season 13 of The Voice.
With plans to release “some of the most honest songs I’ve ever written” in 2023, Wilder continues to win over the hearts of new fans with her bubbly, candid, straightforward personality and relatability as she continues to pay her dues as the new girl on Music Row.
