A California farmer’s daughter and the middle child of five kids, Annie Bosko has been praised by Rolling Stone magazine as an artist to watch. Heavily influenced by classic country and The Beatles, Bosko began singing in church at a young age and by her teen years was performing original music at local clubs. During this time, she remembers listening intently to Patsy Cline, George Strait, Shania Twain, Merle Haggard, and Dwight Yoakam, whose artistry profoundly impacted the development of her unique musical style.
From writing songs for legends like Willie Nelson to performing onstage with Adele and Darius Rucker, Annie has since worked with numerous industry giants. In an impressive feat for an artist’s debut album, Caged Bird—set for release in 2023—will feature Bosko singing with three of those icons whom she considers her musical heroes: Vince Gill, Raul Malo of The Mavericks, and Dwight Yoakam.
