On July 18, country newcomers Pryor Baird and Kaleb Lee played Blake Shelton’s Ole Red Tishomingo, operated by Ryman Hospitality Properties. Shelton coached both artists as part of “Team Blake” on season 14 of the hit NBC television show “The Voice.”

In a Facebook live announcing the addition of Ole Red Gatlinburg earlier this year, Shelton expressed the importance of providing his contestants with opportunities to perform at each of the Ole Red venues. “I’ve been able to introduce some of the contestants from “The Voice” — Lauren Duski played, I had The Swon Brothers…and that’s never going to end. We need those kids and those kids need a place to go and continue to work on their craft. It just makes sense for me to put them in my venue.”
