Celebrating 5 Years at Ole Red Gatlinburg

It’s been a fun-filled, country-lovin’, boot-scootin’, Smoky Mountain high time since we opened Ole Red Gatlinburg five years ago.

“When I think of country music and where it started, I think of the mountains of East Tennessee,” Blake Shelton said at the Grand Opening. “I’m so proud to be here and I think this one may be my favorite location because the music is the focal point. The room is almost shaped like a speaker, I love it!”

Since, we’ve had A-list visitors like Lance Bass from NSYNC, Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre, UFC President Dana White, Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Van Zant Brothers, NASCAR Driver Clint Bowyer, country star Kane Brown, and, of course, Boss Man Blake Shelton.

Not to mention, some pretty incredible talent to grace our stage, including three winners from NBC’s The Voice: Todd Tilghman, Jake Hoot, and Bryce Leatherwood, and several other Voice artists: Emily Ann Roberts, Swon Brothers, Worth the Wait, Ian Flanigan, The Joy Reunion, and Pete Mroz.

Country artists Mark Wills, Hannah Dasher, Ryan Griffin, Dalton Dover (who won our 2021 Ole Red Auditions before Blake invited him to make his Opry debut), and Oliver Anthony have also popped by for next-level performances at Ole Red.

From March 10 through March 16, we’re celebrating all that country goodness with seven whole days of full bands, hot new artists, and a few Voice alum on our main stage at Ole Red’s Year 5 Smoky Mountain Shindig. Here’s a sample of all the badassery happening soon:

Tyson Leamon, Taylor Teasley, and CB and the Boys
