Ricky Duran Pop-up Show

Come see runner up, Ricky Duran, a runner up on The Voice pop in on fellow voice artist- Taryn Papa’s set for his first return to the Ole Red Nashville Stage since filming the show!

Ricky Duran is an American musician who gained much popularity for his time on Season 17 of NBC’s The Voice, where he placed as runner up.  He is known for his blues guitar playing, soulful raspy vocals, and his powerful songwriting ability’s.  Duran gained recognition after getting a 4 chair turn for his inspiring performance of “River” by Leon Bridges.  His original single “A Woman Like Her” reached #1 on the ITunes overall Charts.  Prior to his success on The Voice, Duran graduated from Berklee College of Music and had been working as a full time musician in his hometown of Worcester, MA before moving to Austin, TX to further his music career.  He has performed with artists such as Gary Clark Jr, Blake Shelton, among others.  His most recent single release “She Closed Her Eyes”, a powerful and moving ballad Duran wrote in memory of his mother, has charted #1 on the Singer/Songwriter iTunes Charts.  It is the first single of his widely anticipated EP, expected to be released sometime next year.
