Hudson Valley is a female-fronted country-rock band blending bold country vocals, gritty rock energy, and just the right amount of sassâthanks to dynamic lead singer Sarah Owens. Formed in Nashville in 2018, the group features Richie Owens (drums), Matthew Farinelli (guitar), and Kyle Therky joining on bass in 2024 to complete the current lineup.
With influences spanning country, rock, and punk-rock, Hudson Valley has crafted a sound thatâs both familiar and refreshingly original. Their live shows have become must-see events, having sold out venues like The Listening Room, 3rd & Lindsley, and The Bluebird CafĂ©. The band has earned their spot in Nashville playing The Sutler Saloon, Dierks Bentleyâs Whiskey Row, Friends In Low Places, and The Wildhorse Saloon but most notably with their standout weekly shows at Blake Sheltonâs Ole Red since 2018.
Hudson Valley has opened for major country acts including Little Big Town, Josh Turner, Lauren Alaina, Chase Rice, LoCash, Jerrod Niemann, and Rodney Atkins. Their debut EP, Seven, debuted at #17 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart, and their radio singles have made waves on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart, with âBad Boyfriendâ reaching #41 and âRight Place Nowâ breaking into the Top 40 at #34. Their latest release âOnly Good In Bedâ is already generating buzz across streaming platforms and Music Row, further solidifying Hudson Valley as one of Nashvilleâs most exciting emerging acts.
