Show time: 5:30 pm

Location: Ole Red Nashville Airport — Nashville

As unique as her sound, Woods’ influences range from Stevie Nicks and Eagles to David Ramirez. From the girl on the Emmy award-winning show, to the woman she is today, Woods is eager to share her new music with her fans—raw insight into her life, emotions, and experiences.  Everybody has their stories, and her songs are hers, stories she hopes her audience from all walks of life can relate to.
She has traveled across the US and Canada, playing venues both solo and as part of Season 1’s The Voice Live Tour.  In addition, Weston has opened for the likes of Justin Moore, James Otto, John Anderson, and Craig Morgan. In 2015, she received her first major accolade as a songwriter, selected as one of only 17 songwriters for that years ASCAP GPS class.

Woods Weston is a singer-songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee, with a sound that cannot be confined by any one genre.  She certainly is no rookie in the industry. You may recognize her as semifinalist Casey Weston, a powerful voice from Season 1 of NBC’s The Voice.  Following her time on Team Adam from the now hit series, she made the move to Nashville for her music career and has been evolving ever since.  Weston has relentlessly worked on her craft since picking up a guitar as a teenager—writing, collaborating, recording, and performing with some of the best—all while piecing together her identity, both personally and as an artist.  Part of that self-discovery was identifying by her middle name, Woods; it was a choice not just for show or the stage, but a change she felt necessary to be true to herself, a priority she has made for her life and her music.  Thus, Woods Weston, the artist was born.
